The short version
When you submit a question here, you transfer ownership of that content to R U Smarter? In exchange, you get paid when your submission is verified as a genuine AI fail. The content is used to build AI training datasets — that is the product. Your questions will never be posted publicly.
1. What You're Agreeing To
When you submit a question to R U Smarter?, you assign full ownership of that submission — including the question, any context or documents you attach, your annotations, and the AI responses it generated — to R U Smarter? and its parent company.
This is a permanent transfer, not a license. Once submitted, you no longer own the content.
2. Why We Do This
The core product of R U Smarter? is high-quality AI training data — specifically, examples where frontier models fail on expert-level questions. This data is valuable precisely because it comes from real domain experts, not crowdworkers.
Ownership transfer lets us build, license, and sell these datasets to AI labs and research organizations. That revenue is how we fund the payouts to you.
3. What We Promise in Return
- Your questions are never made public. They go directly into training pipelines — not onto any public website, social media, or search index.
- You get paid for verified fails. Compensation is based on how many models failed and the quality of the submission. Rates are determined at time of payout and communicated directly to you. A verified fail requires agreement from 5+ validators in your domain.
- Your name stays private. Only your first name and last initial appear publicly on the leaderboard.
- No re-identification. We will not attempt to identify the source of specific questions when licensing datasets.
4. What You Should Not Submit
- Questions that contain patient, client, or case-specific confidential information
- Content owned by someone else (textbook excerpts, licensed materials)
- AI-generated questions — only original expert knowledge
- Anything that would violate professional ethics rules in your field
By submitting, you confirm that you have the right to transfer the content and that it doesn't violate any confidentiality obligations.
5. Deletion Requests
You can request deletion of your account and personal profile at any time. However, submitted content that has already been incorporated into a training dataset cannot be removed — the same way a published paper cannot be unpublished. We will remove any personally identifying information attached to the submission.
6. Questions
